PERSONALITY Kaity seems like she has everything under control but actually this girl is complete mess. She is scared of everyone, and everything, she just really doesn't want to be hurt again so she really doesn't see the point in socializing with people outside her band that could potentially destroy what little confidence she has left in her life. Even with her own band members she's very quiet around them and prefers not to discuss her problems to them, even if they bug her about it for hours. She's known all of them for quiet a while but insists on not letting them know everything about her, just in case they try and turn around and use it against her.

She's actually a really sweet girl and probably one of the nicest you'll ever meet. She's in no way judgemental and is completely understanding of any situation she's put in. Because of her unfortunate history she is very introverted and shy. She tends to be really akward and more uncomfortable around guys than girls do to events as stated. She blushes easily and stay away from anything having to do with sex. Hell if you mention anything sexual to her she's likely to walk away. The only people on this tour she's really comfortable with are the ones in her band and the techies etc.

HISTORY

Kaity grew up an only child which she enjoyed. She has always been very close to both of her parents, they never really fought, and she usually had gotten the things she's wanted. Technically she wasn't spoiled since Kaity was always good about only asking for things that were necessary. Even taking her shopping as a treat she barely got anything since she felt her parents should be out buying for themselves instead. As a child to early teen years she was very selfless. At an early age though she did show many signs of extreme independence. Even at school she didn't have many friends because she'd push them all away.

Her parents thought it was a little weird, but so what if she was different, they loved her daughter either way. In high school she had her very first boyfriend. He was one of the only people, other than her parents, that knew pretty much everything about her. And he actually understood taking things slow, unlike the usual horndogs that usually flirted with her. In Kaity's eyes this Boy, Jace, was perfect. He was a god to her and she loved every minute of being surrounded by him.

Jace however has changed after the very first year of them dating. He has cheated on her many , many, many times, and she knew, she just refused to believe the "rumors". Besides why on earth would she want to end a relationship so perfect over a stupid little thing like sleeping around. Well a couple of months later Jace was obtaining a reputation about sleeping around and word had gotten back to Kaitlyn if she didn't sleep with him that he was going to dump her and screw her best friend. This made her laugh a little since of course she didn't believe it. But that weekend Jace texted her seeing if she wanted to come out to party, though he knew Kaity didn't do well in large crowds of people, she still said yes. He picked her up and drove her there, everyone but her knew what his plan was, and being so oblivious to his fake love, she wouldn't have ever guessed what he was planning.

Once they got there Jace socialized for a while, and Kaitlyn sat by herself. She talked a few " friends" of hers before he came to rescue her. Though it wasn't the kind of rescuing she was expecting. She was ready to go home, but he needed to talk to her apparently. So she followed him upstairs. Bad idea, but it happened. He was drunk and started to pressure her. She pushed him off, but each time Jace started to get a little more violent. Kaitlyn finally had enough and managed to slip away, tell him they were over and make it to the door. Jace couldn't let her go though , and went back to fetch his new ex. He ripped her onto the bed by her arm, forced her down, and yes, he raped her.

This event really scarred Kaity, and this is why she acts the way she does now. After everyone heard she had sex with Jace she was called a whore, and rumors started she supposedly slept around a lot now. And yet everyone still looked at Jace like he was a god, and no one ever found out about what happened at the party. That was until her senior year of high school, she started skipping for many weeks and ditched class to go somewhere to be alone when he was in those classes. She finally came out with the truth to her mother and that was the end of Jace. They pressed charges faster than he could say sorry. He was thrown in jail at the age of eighteen, for rape and was sentenced for seven years.

After her was locked away seems got a little easier. She still refeused to talk to guys, even sometimes her father was pushing it. Anyway this want of something more in her life led her to music. And this in return showed her to her drums. She took lessons from a very talented friend of hers just a few months before graduation and continued for a few months, and then she got really good, to the point she could actually teach herself almost any song she learned. When she turned nineteen she met the lead vocalist of When All Else Fails, who in return introduced her to the other members of the band, listened to her play, and asked her to join the band. She of course said yes, which made her finally find an escape from her reality. Now music is extremely important to her and is very serious when it comes to this tour.
