happily ever after...
It's five years after the events of Breaking Dawn, and the Cullens are still living in Forks. Bella and Edward are happily married, and Renesmee is all "grown-up" due to the extraordinary rate at which she's developed, and spends most of her time with Jacob on the reservation in La Push.
There hasn't been any trouble threatening the Cullens or Jacob and the tribe since the false allegations against Renesmee when she was younger. However, the Cullens have been discussing a possible move to Denali, Alaska.
a new beginning...
They feel their time in Forks may be coming to an end, and they want to give Bella the chance to attend the University in Alaska and to try to continue her life as much as possible. However, they do have some regret with leaving Forks. Not only has it been peaceful for them, but they realize leaving Forks means leaving Renesmee behind with Jacob. Though they trust Jacob and the other werewolves to protect her, moving so far away doesn't sit well with anyone.
a threat to peace...
Meanwhile, the Volturi have built up their numbers again and their desire to win over the Cullens into their coven has pushed them into action. They're planning a strike against the Cullen clan hoping to have the advantage of surprise. With Alice's future-seeing ability and Bella's ability of creating a shield of protection, their plan would be difficult to pull off, but the Volturi are determined and feel their army of newborns strengthen their chance of success. Will they be capable of ruining the peaceful life the Cullens have been enjoying, or will the family be able to fight off the Volturi for the second time?
