Ryan is, simply put, a player. He is a user but not an abuser. Well, not really. He never gets into a serious long term relationship but he is always with someone. Most of the time, it's just for the night or the weekend. However long it takes to get his quick fix and then before they know it, he's gone and on to someone else.
But, if he likes someone well enough -- whether they get along well in or out of bed --- he may come around to them again. He won't use anyone for much more than sex unless he really needs the money and then, he's not opposed to being basically paid for sexual favors.
That being said, he's become quite the heartbreaker. If he's using somebody just for the night, he has no problem telling them that it was nothing more than just that. Some would really like him and he would merely tell them that it meant nothing to him and then he would leave. It wasn't his problem if they couldn't handle being around him after that.
Even though he will go for just about anyone, he's pretty picky about other things. He can be a bit temperamental if things don't go his way or if situations are just plain poor but he's definitely not a drama queen or anything like that. He tends to bottle things up inside over time and he will eventually explode. Then his temper will "reset" and everything will be fine again.
The one thing that's a bit different about Ryan is that he's just a tad masochistic. He enjoys getting extensive tattoo pieces and piercings because of the pleasure he gets from the pain. Going back to where it previously said that he didn't mind being paid for sexual favors, this also means that he is all down for things being rough or even harmful.
Ryan is originally from Bavaria. His mother had died in the process of child birth and his father was murdered when Ryan was two. They never figured out why or who did it. He was put up for adoption at the request of his mother's sister. A family in Oakland, California, the Flemings, adopted him soon after that. They never kept anything from him regarding his biological family and his adoption but they never made him feel awkward or left out. They still gave him every opportunity to live life to the fullest as if he was their own. Naturally, they supported his photography and his art as he was recognized at county, state, and regional levels in the fine arts category. They weren't fond of his tattoos when he started getting them at 17 but they let it go because he said that his body was his personal art canvas that he could take around with him wherever he went. When he was 18, a local band to Oakland, California picked him up as their photographer after he graduated high school and he went on tour with them as their screamer vocalist for nearly three years. Through them, he heard about this tour.
